No, really! Why do I have to see straight people alllll day on television. And then, when I go to work, I have to deal with straight customers allllll day long. And then, when I come home, my straight neighbors give me h*ll for no apparent reason, allllll night long.

Seriously, why do straights throw it in our face? Why can't we just have a straight pride parade, and let the rest of the year be entirely homosexual?

For those of you fired up enough to know where this was directed, I feel it too.

And maybe now, sir, you can see just how ridiculous and bigoted your question is.

I agree -- anger in the moment -- but it felt better to let it out than bottle it up...

As for answerer #2 -- I may have chosen you as best answer. If only you had realized I am a GIRL.

Ugh -- and I realize he didn't see the completely horrible day I had, but a girl can only take so much before she goes BAM all over someone's face.

As respectful as his question may have been put -- it was his comments regarding our honest answers that threw me off.

I hear your frustration, really. But it doesn't make you look any better when you stoop to their level.

RISE ABOVE!

I'm bi, but still. Lately I've met a certain guy and feel a certain way about him. This has caused certain changes in me. Perhaps, too the years and years of constant ill will from all around about my boyfriends.......but ... Last night at the check-out at the super-market a handsome, normal, nice 20ish straight couple were nuzzeling while waiting in front of me on line. I just said out loud, as though I were talking to someone "It's ok that straight people exist. I just wish they wouldn't Flaunt it."
My exhaustion on this issue just came out, with a tiny touch of anger, too. They actually stopped Kissing ! And they reacted, not like they were pset or afraid of me, but kind of like I was right !
I did not apologize. THAT would have been foolish.

I agree. It really aggravates me how some people have the audacity to be annoyed b/c "gay people throw their gayness in our face." Well us gays have to watch and observe straight people all day every day. Every time we see a straight couple kissing or holding hands, Every time someone mentions a date they went on. Every time people talk about crushes. Heterosexuality is in everyones face ALL the time. So why can't gay people be able to feel free enough that they can also share their lives. Why is it so awful if we mention our love lives? It's a double standard and its wrong and sickening.

I am so sorry. I'm a straight person and I've tried to get my straight acquaintenances to low key things. They insist on straight pride parades and continue to openly be themselves by dressing straight. They tell me we must support the straight agenda. I keep telling them "we have full rights" but the silly souls keep making the case that they deserve parades too. I saw the question you refer too. I was accused by the asker of being angry. Rant on friend;)

Get out in public with your boyfriend and hold hands, kiss, embrace, all the subtle things straight couples do to show their affection. Just be prepared to bust some heads.

You go Cas.

Sometimes a person with a bigoted attitude doesn't even recognize it for what it is.

The fact is you are right. straight is thrown in our faces in every aspect of society. In movies, in commercials and on the streets (i.e. A guy and a girl kissing in public.)

I agree. I have to watch it all day at school as well and on, tv, movies, etc. It really frustrates me when I have to see these things all the time and I am not 'allowed' to do the same.

I dont think that you should have hate for the heterosexuals just because they are straight. Think about it you dont like them being mean cause your homosexual do you? You need to spread the word of love not hate!!!!
