I have 3 glowlight tetra's. They're pretty, but their eyes aren't BRIGHT orange like in the pet store. I have dark substate and I purchased a light tube made for subdued lighting. Any other suggestions.

Environment does often play a major role in colouring of most species, which includes lighting, sunstrates, ornaments/toys, rocks and even certain types of plants. So I recon you could check if environment is the reason. Alternatively color enhansing foods could help. If you get fish foods from Thailand then most of them have rating on their backs which says something like red factor. Get one with factor above 6. If you can get foods from manufactures like Tetra or Hikari then you can buy ones that suits best for your fishes. These people make foods for a wide variety of species with wide variety of objectives like growth, breeding and color to name a few.

i have been told that feeding my fish froen food like brine shrimp 2-3 times a week will help keep there colors bright.

I think that it might take some time for it to work. I generally just have a black colored background to make them stand out.
