So what is the question?

I would sit down with my father and have an honest talk with him. I would let him know how his yelling and screaming makes me feel. And "how it makes you feel" is the key to all this.

Your father may be under pressure too, maybe with work? Sometimes men can get into a rut, and when they do, everything becomes serious.

Next time he yells, maybe you could ask him if he's ok? or if there's something you can do to help? It might be a good opener to sharing how his yelling affects you too.

Good luck.

I wonder...
i got the same issues with you...
its a matter on how you cope with it...
Some parents can be loud...
Some parents can be silent killers...
Hey listen...
its better to have your dad screaming & shouting...
rather than silent and do things or say thing behind your back rite...
It takes time to adjust...
sooner or later your dad is gonna be tired of shouting...
trust me...
that means his battery is running low...
how long can someone stay continuously shouting rite...
anybody can have a soar throat rite...
If your mature enough...
you know how to tackle your problem & go about your dad's loudspeaker attitude...
Nobody knows your dad better than anyone else rite...
^_^
