Here's the short answer:
Because liberals in this country are trying desperately to destroy Christianity as a religion.
Proof can be found in the recent events in San Francisco. The Catholic Church is in a no win situation. If they do nothing, they appear weak. If they pursue legal recourse they appear vindictive. What happened at that church was a disgrace to Christians everywhere. Yet where is the media coverage? However if the church were to pursue legal action, the San Francisco D.A. has made the statement that he would be more than willing to file help the church file charges, the press would be all over the church blasting them as homophobes.

I am a member of the most discriminated against group around (WASP) and you don't see me crying about it or hit the report button.
In fact we should be marching in the street and raising hell, instead we march off to work and raise families while you sit around complaining and waiting on your govt check that came out of my pay check

a few (not all) christians equate being persecuted with being righteous
ex. jesus was righteous and the romans persecuted, killed him, therefore if you aren't being persecuted (real or imagined), you must be doing something wrong
I belive this is common to many religions actually

Unfortunately, Xians don't just practice thier faith in peace. They want to enact laws and constitutional changes, as well as stick thier drivel into the public school system, and fight lifesaving medical research.
This is why I have a problem with Xians.

I have seen A LOT of Christian bashing here on Y!A and elsewhere. It is disgusting and sick. Why do liberals think it is cool to bash Christianity yet turn a blind eye to the atrocities purpetrated in the name of Islam?

Because the bible tells them too. And you're right I'm sure they are reporting you like crazy. Like the Muslims they always see themselves as the victim of the "great Satan" du jour. It's really pathetic. I think they secretly admire Muslims for being so violent and want to be just like them.
