I switched to a new kind of birth control called the Nuva Ring. Ive been on it for almost 2 months now and haven't had any spotting but for some reason every time I have an orgasm, I bleed for heavy for the next 2 days or so. I used to have this with my old birth control as well just not every time so I dont think it had anything to do with the birth control not being regulated. I know for a facts its not the sex part that makes me bleed. Does anyone have any idea what it could be and how to stop it. I dont want to contact my gyno because she was hesitant to put me on it in the 1st place because Ive switched alot of birth controls before. Is there anything I can do to stop it.♥♥♥

Having an orgasm should NOT be causing you to bleed for the next 2 days- if this is the case, something's wrong with the contraception you are using. You need to see your doctor and get this checked out- and remember that the doctor's job is to help you, NOT judge you. If this physician is judgemental towards you, you need to find another doctor. The bleeding may be caused by some type of local irritation, or because the tissue in that area is thin and easily broken. Either way, get this checked out.

You have to talk to your doctor. My sister had this problem. Not sharing it, one day she became so enemic she passed out at work. The pills are causing the bleeding. You may have to just not use pills for BC. Like all the commercials for any of them say, may cause bleeding.

you can't stop nature... it always finds a way... i know that i have months where my period will be late and like you.. give me one good orgasm, and gush... there it is... it is what it is... we were meant to bleed each month and if we mess with mother nature then don't be confused when the un-ordinary happens...

Talk to your gynecologist. Ignoring something like this would be stupid.
