Fatima is a gorgeous name and more common than some people think. Ebonique.... I wouldn't try that hard to make your daughter stand out.... it may make her angry at you when she is school aged.
Prime example.... my name is Florence Summer. I got it both ways as a child. I really did hate my mom until I was fifteen for it. I actually made up a new middle name for myself, Gabrielle, when I was in 8th grade and made my friends call me Gabby because I hated Summer so much. I have been called by my middle name my whole life. Except 8th grade, of course. But my teachers called me Summer still.

I like Ebonique... I know a girl named Fatima and kids used to make fun of her for it... but I like it, unique.

i like Fatima and i have heard it before!!! as for Ebonique it is a bit different to say the least,i like Ebony better,just my opinion!good luck.

I think the name is a little too "out there" for the last name. Eboniue Fatima ...jones.I like the way it sounds, it just seems too confusing for the spelling and when it is written out( i know that is the simplest spelling)

Makes me think of ebonics. Ebony is pretty, and a very suitable nickname or Nicki. I'm with the rest of the group on Fatima, sounds pretty but all I see is fat.

Personally, I don't care for most "ethnically" based names. That one is'nt that bad, at least THIS white-guy can pronounce it.
If you "hate it", come up with a nickname that suits YOU.
I suggest you NOT pi$$-off Mom & Pops, though.

Not my taste. Especially the spelling of Fatima. I would never have the word Fat in any of my kids names, but whatever floats your boat.
