So what should I write about this? or well, how am i suppose to write this? Can cells even mate?!...Okay so maybe they can but why would that work? Please help!

OK you're a bio-geneticist and you've successfully grafted human genes into tomato embryos which grew into tomatoes with human traits. They could move about, make noise, eat with mouths (eat meat too) - but pollinated themselves through flowers - but their own offspring grew through their stems - like pregnant women.

Oh and they were hermaphroditic - and could self-pollinate.

these creations only lasted for 1 generation because the doubling of the genes brought about too many recessive traits - which manifested themselves in grotesque monsters albeit not very tall monsters) with hair and such and they couldn't reproduce past the first generation...

ever watched attack of the killer tomoatoes??? i'm pretty sure they were mutated not mated with human cells but it gives a good place to take the "effect" part of the paper
