Have the nominees for the '08 academy awards been announced yet? When were the '07 awards?

The '08 Academy Awards won't be announced until Jan 22nd 2008. (In order to be eligible the film needs to release in LA or NY before Dec. 31, 2007).

The award ceremony will be on Feb. 24th, 2008.

(Last year's awards took place on Feb 25th, 2007.)

They usually announce the nominees at the end of January or the first of Febuary with the awards show usually taking place in April. :)
