Maybe not if you are taking theater classes (or music or dance classes), but if you are taking organic chemistry, for example, I'm not sure I'd want to know what that dance would look like! In fact, I would guess that should this ever happen, you may need to call for help, because that professor would have gone over the edge!

Because your and your government are paying a lot of money for your education. Seeing your teacher sing and dance, although amusing, would not be an effective use of our economies resources. It's like asking why surgeons don't sing and dance while operating; there's more important things to do with their time and that's not what they're paid for.

People who think like me would complain if they ended up wasting their money like that, so teachers don't want to run the risk of getting in trouble.

I whistle and sing each and every of the time. Dancing is reserved for particular events, or as quickly as I only prefer to embarrass my youngsters. I have a horrible singing voice & would not want to inflict it upon my students.
