Because I can do almost everything online so I don't have to go to the bank, and wait in line. This also eliminates having to plan out my daily schedule for when the banks are open - I can bank 24 hours a day from home!

They also let me pay all my bills online for free so I don't have to write out checks, address and stamp envelopes and mail them.

I use it because, having moved to Scotland, there are only three branches of my bank in the whole country. I have too many banking activities to make it worthwhile changing banks; I use PayPal a lot, and I can see my transactions on a daily basis. I can also transfer money instantly without having to rely on the post or waiting for cheques to clear.

Furthermore, I have found it 100% secure.

Out of convenience mostly. I get emails when a new bill is ready to be paid so all I need to do is fill out the payment and queue it up to be paid whenever it is due. It also saves me from having to buy materials to mail them in and I don't have to worry about forgetting to put them in the mail on time.

I write one check a month for my rent which I hand deliver. I cannot remember the last time I bought a book of stamps.

Well, it's convenient. You can pay bills and transfer money from the comfort of your own home. No need to go to the bank and line up.
