We were having dinner with some friends the other night and the wife said that even though she is a conservative and does not agree with Hillary, she will vote for her because it's time to have a woman as president.

So the question is, "Are you likely to vote for Hillary simply because she is a woman."

Please give a simple yes or no followed by an M or F for your sex and then you age, please. And then if you wish you can expound upon this.

For example:

Y F 28

My neighbor's wife absolutely said this and was serious. I will also say that she is a college educated and, up until this statement, I would of labeled her intelligent.

I intended to spark some debate, I also wanted to be able to take a quick total of the votes.

The first person who answers my question the way I asked will get the best answer.

I will say that so far I am pleasently surprised that my neighbor appears to be in the minority.

I cannot think of anything more shallow than voting on someone because of their genetalia.

I don't vote for the packaging & most of the time I'm not even voting for a canidate. I once voted for a third party canidate, which put in one of the most useless yet over rated person into power. I'm most likely going to cast my vote against the greater of the 2 evils. My vote will show up as a for the better of the unworthy in one of the only other party that is allowed to win.

If that's the reason that your friends wife said she would vote for Hillary, then your friends wife is a moron or your telling a little fib.

Normal people look at issues, not sex or race.

No, I wouldn't vote for her. Women can't separate logic from their emotions.....just like your female friend stated. It's clear your friend isn't separating logic from her emotions....'cause anybody with a sound mind can see that voting for Hillary is about the dumbest thing anybody could do. Can you imagine Hillary trying to make a presidential decision about this country without letting her emotions cloud her perspective. It can't be done....nothing wrong with how the woman mind works, it's simply just a case of facts being facts.

no. I would someday like to see a woman as President... but I just don't like a lot of issues Hillary is dreaming up, in order to get the job.

I would NEVER vote for someone to rule our country simply because of gender.

I am likely to vote for Ralph Nader if Cilnton is nominated, because I feel that she is no better than her husband, who stabbed working people in the back with NAFTA.

Male-Former Tool and Die maker who would have been better off studying Chineese, instead of engineering.

i imagine human beings might want to opt for to vote for Hilary Clinton because she might want to be the first woman in American historic previous to be a president. some human beings in basic terms trust that she is amazingly wise and he or she might want to be an excellent candidate adversarial to "George Bush"

I really hate being told how to answer a question...no, I won't vote for Hillary because she's a woman...I don't vote for anybody based on their sex or race.

No. I am too scared that her requirements as a housewife (aka cooking, cleaning, laundry etc.) will get in the way of being President.

Are you kidding?? Not a chance. Gender doesn't enter in to my decision. Her policy agenda is socialism, pure and simple. Her election would be disastrous.
