i got a notice that the water is going to be turned off if bill is not payed , we agreed he'l pay the water , now his not paying what should i do the water bill is in his name

To be totally legal, pay the water bill and deduct that same amount from your rent.

What's in the lease is what counts, not what you have agreed to verbally. But if you own the house and the tenant is supposed to pay but doesn't, you're stuck for it.

call housing department on thim, show them the water bill is in his name, and your copy of the lease. see how quick he pays that bill bc they are going to fine him up the wazoo!

If your lease specifically states that "he" (landlord?) pays for the water, you can complain to your local housing authority or even take "him" to court.

If the lease does not indicate you are responsible or if it say that he is then you need will need to file a complaint against him.
