This has always been a "you know you are from Pennsylvania when" joke. But seriously, why not? You have complete anonymity, so start a conversation with a person who called a number by mistake. If the conversation takes off, you gain a friend, if it doesn't take off, honestly what do you lose? A couple minutes of your life, big deal. After all how many great things have come out of this world by mistake. A wrong number may become your greatest networking opportunity.
Chat it up!!!!

Yes, and after 3 years she ended up one of my best friends. She was calling a guy she had a date with. After we started talking, she just stayed on the phone and never went out that night.

Yes! This really cool girl from San Diego called one time, and we talked for like an hour. Made me want to go out there if the people are that nice.

Yes and he was some young punk asking my name and where I live and how I like to have sex. He kept calling back and had a friend talk on the phone as well. Have a good evening!

Sometimes it is fun to call random numbers and see if whoever answers will talk to you. It's better to bet on if a random person will have a conversation on a specific topic.

As a matter of fact i did once, she was calling for the previous owner of the phone. When i tried to let her go, she asked me on what my name was and where did i live, because i sounded "sexy".
I laughed it off and told here to guess.

Yes. We chatted for a few minutes, and then he asked me for directions because that's what he'd been calling his friend about. We never talked again later, though.
