She doesnt eat any solids? It sounds like its time to introduce some solid foods at certain meals instead of breast milk.

My 8 month old doesnt eat anything but table food during the day, he only nurses first thing in the morning and then right before bed. We set that up because he ate solids instead of nursing certain meals.

First it was his middle of the day nursing, he started eating a couple jars of baby food instead. And so on, until he was nursing less and eating more.

He also drinks regular cows milk, but since you already introduced her to formula, give her that instead of milk, obviously. Its best to wait on milk until theyre a year.

If you want her to nurse less, nurse her less often, and feed her other things instead.

The only way I can tell you is let her wean herself. I breastfed my daughter and she weaned herself. But after she did that she wouldn't drink milk at all. I made sure she had plenty of calcium by giving her cheese, yogurt, etc. And I made sure that her doctor knew about her not wanting any milk from a cup. It will be hard to stop but if you stick to your decision you should be fine. Otherwise, let her wean herself. Hope this helps!!

I just stopped my 8 month old nursing. I just went from breast to bottle. It was rough for a few days but now its over and he is fine. Its harder for you than for them, you make the rules and they will get that. Be strong, you have to do whats best for them.
