We have found a new place to live and need to sublet our apartment. We live in a college town but it is the middle of semester. We have already told our landlords that we would like to sublet but they said that someone else was trying to sublet also. We called the newspaper to put a classified add and found it was a whopping $91 to put an add in. Is there any other way to adverstize our apartment that isn't as exspensive?

A few people mentioned craiglist already & I will agree with them but the other thing is just typing up something, taking it to the college campus & putting it up(This is widely used at the college campuses in my area).

Make signs and post them in different places, like stores and schools.

craigslist.org
Go to your area there, then to real estate (you'll figure it out.)
It's free.
