Smoke a blunt! lol sorry...ummm i don't know try working out. That is the best thing you can do because it is so good for you and it really really helps destress you. You should seriously look into getting a gym membership. When you feel stressed out head to the gym, even if its only for a little run or lap in the pool. I know that the gym works wonders for me. You can also just go for a walk. Walking and thinking and getting some fresh air should really help you out. I used to do that when i first moved to CA and i would argue with my boyfriend. I would just go outside and walk around for a little bit. Also if you have a little bit of extra cash do to the store and buy yourself something or get a pedicure. It will feel really good to buy your self a little something.

talk about your feelings to a friend, cousin aunt, guidance counsellor. Scream in a pillow, if you still really want to feel pain you can use an ice cube,on your wrist. You will feel a burning sensation after a while that might be enough to relieve you but at least you are not hurting yourself. You can also try doing push-ups or anything physical because exercise releases endorphins in the brain that make you feel happy and in a good mood.

Focus on your breathing for 10 minutes. Just breathe in through your nose and out at an even pace w/ your eyes closed. Just look for the part of you that is centered and peaceful.
When you start thinking about all the stress and crappiness again, take a few deep breaths. Learn to be in tune w/ your breath. You'll notice that when you start to get upset, you breathe faster. If you catch yourself getting wound up BEFORE you start to feel overwhelmed, you can stay in better control of your emotions.
Also, Cali Kush is RIGHT ON. If you exercise regularly, it alters serotonin levels in the brain and leads to improved mood and feelings of wellbeing.

Remember, when one door is closed another door is open,
Recall your inner feeling and do what u like because life is only once, do not go against your nature , go ahead as your nature is.
Yoga , medicine can not help you because I know very well that kind of thing a depressed person can not do, but if you good will power then Yoga suggestion so better.
Best of Luck

Sign up for some meditation classes. You need to learn to go inside yourself to a place of relaxation and no stress to get away from all the external garbage that gets thrown at you. When you get practiced enough, you'll be able to go into that meditative state as the garbage is being thrown at you. You won't get those stressed-out, overwhelmed feelings anymore.

k 1. i want to say (even tho i dont know you) that i am proud of you for not resorting to that harmful way of relieving stress..i went down that path before and it was STUPID and USELESS
2. what's stressing you out? what can you do to get it out of your life? If its a boyfriend cheating then get rid of him! if he's not actin right talk to him, don't harm YOURSELF over someone else because trust me hun you only have yourself in the end and like my mother told me "Hate everyone else in the world before you ever start to hate yourself"
3. light some candles, put on some soft nice music, lock the bathroom and take a nice hot bubble bath...i swear on everything it works!!!!

Oh babe!
Well, good on you for asking for help and fighting the desire, to go back to your bad habits.
Have you tried a helpline?
What about hanging out with some good friends.
Listen to music.
Write your feelings down.
Go for a walk.
Phone a good friend.
Watch a good movie, a fun one!
