Nothing is truly free.. it actually all boils down to fundamental laws of the universe.. the laws of thermodynamics, conservation of energy/matter... things may appear to be free on the surface but there's always going to be some exchange of some kind. If you find a coin on the ground, you still have to pick it up, after all, and that's effort you're expending to get the free coin.

The best we can really hope for is: the best things in life result in the lowest possible increase in the overall entropy of the universe.... but nobody would understand you if you said that.

in a way yes it is free, a smile,love,life, laughing, hugging etc...its all free and can make a difference to some1 so there for yes the best things in life are free!

yea the best things in life are free but they arent material things so if you think the world is just a material world then no nothings free but if you have faith that this world is more than just getting things then your entire life is free

nothing is really free,we pay for it one way or the other,if you live in the UK,the Labour party are thinking up ways every day to get more out of us,anyone else agree with that?.

No if transport and communication were free the world would be a better place but they arn't and they probably always will cost money and keep getting more expensive through my and your lifetime.
