You can, but you have to build up a great client base 1st.

If you treat it as a business then yes you can make good money.

The problem is that most people just hand a few brochures around and expect miracles. It won't work this way.

Firstly you'll need to increase your customer base, you can do that by giving brochures to friends, handing out business cards, putting flyers up in coffee shops etc, Anything that will get your name out there. Next is building your team - harder to do but if you remain consistent it can be done.

Remember all businesses take time to grow, but in the end you CAN earn great money being an avon rep. if you are willing to work at it.

No. Don't let your regional Avon manager try to convince you otherwise. Remember, you get paid by commission and that percentage is minimal (about 1-2%) of the total dollars sold. So, if you do some research and think about it. The company, Avon, is making money and you are not.

I know many people who have tried it including my MK sales director they all say the same thing it is a lot of work for very little profit however I have one friend who loves it. I don't know that she makes much money just enjoys it so if you like it and believe in the product you can make it work.

Well, let's just say, I've never met anyone! And, I've had plenty of friends that tried.
I've noticed that Bare Minerals sells right out of the walk-ways in our shopping malls. They sell their products off of carts, and it appears they do a booming business.
