I really like lecture classes and tests and essay work. But I hate classes that require group work and giving oral presentations. Anyone else like that?

Yes. There are millions of people that hate public speaking, so you are not the only one out there in college that hates public speaking and group work.

I dont really think that anyone enjoys giving oral presentations. If you find yourself in a situation where you have to present one, think of this : how well do you pay attention to the others in the class while they are speaking? Do you judge them? The answers probably are not very well, and no. So if you are feeling nervous while speaking infront of a lot of people, just remember, most of the people arent even listening to you, those that are aren't paying close attention, and even fewer are picking your work apart. Just relax and it'll be over before you know it.
As far as working in groups goes, I HATE IT. There is always one person in the group that does everything while everyone else just copies. I'm the person in the group that does everything, you probably are too. Try to find others in the class who are leaders and not followers to work with.

Many people dislike it. However, as preparation for life, they are important. Most jobs these days require a huge amount of team work, and public speaking is critical in many professions. Doing the easy thing isn't always the best for us.

Wow, you are exactly like me. I almost thought this question was asked by myself. I hate group work and presentations. I love chill classes: lectures.
