I preffered Death proof, better ending but Planet terror was good as well. I also enjoyed the fake trailers in between.

I think I preferred planet Terror, from a more artistic standpoint. I thought the film textures and effects were really good. I liked the highly stylized look of the film. I felt like planet terror was a great homage to the grindhouse era where death proof actually seemed to be a grindhouse movie. I really like the whole grindhouse idea and package. I just wish the DVD captured the whole experience rather than separating the movies.

Grindhouse was not a movie. Grindhouse is a type of movie experience that included the viewing of the 2 mentioned movies, seperated by the aforementioned 'trailers'. When the movies were split up and shown seperately, even with all the additional footage to make them longer, this left us without the 'grindhouse' experience that Tarrentino/Rodrigous were originally going for. And now they're being release seperately on dvd, which also leaves out the experience. I'm hoping for a special dvd release of the Grindhouse experience. On dvd they can have both longer versions of the movies and the trailers and the experience can be left intact. :)
