I like the word hippopotamus. I think it's fun to say. But I have always considered it my "favorite animal" since I was a kid, so I may be biased. Rhinocerous is also fun.

I like hippopotamus too, mostly because it's even more fun to say in French.. "L'Hippopotame"

The name hippopotamus is really fun to say . Kookaburra (a kind of bird),Tarantula (spider) are also fun to say.

This may not be a true answer to your question, but this is what I like to say the most, when it comes to animals.

A "flock" of Crows is called a Murder.....

When I see a large group of Crows, I love to say..."Wow, that is one hell of a Murder"

It does turn heads!!!!!

Yellow breasted tit. (Parus flavipectus). Some folks titter uncontrollably when they say it. Others find then name salaciously titillating.

As for myself, I think it is perfectly acceptable nomenclature for a small bird.
