I am paying $40 a month for Comcast cable internet and it sucks. It will be lightning fast for one sec of the day and the rest it sucks. I had dail up before and at times comcast is just as slow and slower. I called them and they said it is because of other people around my area using it at the same time. they said I have to buy MORE bandwidth for faster internet. My friend has DSL and pays half the price as me and his is great. Its fast, plays videos with no waiting.
Who else has bad experience with Comcast frigin SLOW interenet?

Comcast sucks. I just moved into the area and signed up with the Comcast for the cable TV and the internet. They sent me 2 huge boxes, including a cable splitter BUT didn['t send a little coaxial cable that connects the splitter to the wall outlet. I am not very technically inclined, so went to WalMart and asked them how to connect... their associate must be working for Comcast too lol. He told me that the splitter should be plugged directly into the cable box. I knew this made no sense. Then I had an instant chat with Comcast rep who admitted that Comcast goofed by not enclosing the darn cable and now I have to go over to their local store to get it. Or else Radio Shack. They are 'unable' to ship the missing part. SUCKS.

We never had cable. When DSL bcame available, we went with it, and it was great. Then FIOS internet came along, we went with it, and it was amazing. Then FIOSTV came along, we struck a deal for 99.99 for one set an all four computers and it was wonderful. We've had FIOS for 7 months and it has never....not once....gone down.

The only time it seems a little slow is when all four TVs and computers are running, and at least 2 of the computers are downloading large files. Check with Verizon and see if it's available in your area. The TV has more stations than Comcast as well.
