I've heard so many "stories" that say that once a guy or girl gets their partners name tattooed on themselves, it is a curse and are doomed for breakup!?!....personally i think that a tattoo can always be covered up or taken off if anyone regrets what they previously gotten or thinks its a bad idea....i'm asking the people who have done it or knows someone who has done it....but if i was to get the name of my husband on me...would we be cursed?

Do you really believe that ink on the skin can become a curse? Ink has no power over the relationship and over how you both as adults choose to act towards eachother.
It is the both of you who decides what happens to your relationship. Unfortunatley in our society today allot of relationships don't work once they are past the "honeymoon"
stage or past the stage of trying. Most people aren't willing to put the time, effort, and work that it takes to make a relationship awesome and function with out ending.
Tattoos have nothing to do with it....it is the people in the relationship...not the ink.

Yes, just ask Tommy Lee of Motley Crue.

You should just both get the same tattoo that symbolizes your relationship. That way, if you break up, you can look at the tattoo fondly and so can the person in your next relationship.

There are no such thing as curses.
But it is a bad idea - tattoos are not as easily removed as people like to think...besides being expensive and requiring many sessions of lasering, sometimes the tattoo cannot be fully removed and just looks smudged and odd.

Everyone I know that has had a name (someone not related) tatooed on them- have broken up.
Two of my ex's have had names on them, but one was smart- he put the name in red, over a shamrock. After they broke up- he covered it up with flames.
You would never know it was there unless he told you.
If its your husband, and you truly think you will be together for ever- than go for it.
Just try and think about what you do to it in the case you do breakup.

No it's just a bad idea because humans tend to break up after around 5 years or so, but not always.

I don't think that it is an actual Jinx, but It happens so often most good tattooists I know won't do it.
