Have you been following politics the past six and a half years? People are PISSED about what the government has done and not done since the Republicans had both the White House and Congress. The money raised reflects that unhappiness... nevermind the fact that Democrats haven't exactly fixed anything since getting the Capitol back in 2004. Regardless, people are ready for a change. They don't want Bush-Lite.

Democrats have controlled the residing house and senate eighty % of the time in the process the previous 50 years and the presidency around 50% of the time . the recent easy lead by skill of the Republican senate and residing house did no longer quantity to very plenty because of the fact the greater youthful republicans did no longer have the journey of the veteran democrats . the only mixture that has no longer got here approximately is simultaneous republican administration of the residing house , senate and presidency . The democrats had this in the process the carter administration and the 1st 2 years with Clinton. traditionally , the suited court docket has been very liberal . on the 2nd there are 5 Republican s and four Dems . although , one Republican decide is very liberal . i observed a trend of voters is to choose a Democrat for the senate and presidency the place they law is distant and choose Republicans while issues hit closer to residing house ( Congress , Mayors , Governor)

becuase the Democrats are going to win and no one wants to spend money on a loser
the Senate and House republicans are retiring in record numbers and many of those seats are expected to go to the democrats (according to the Senate Republican Election Leader)
Plus add in the fact that the majority of Republicans dont even like thier own candidates!

I know that all 3 of the front running Democrats are filthy rich. Many companies want socialized medicine which the front runners are proposing because it will cut their costs and increase their profits because they won't have to pay for employee's insurance.

I think the biggest reason is that a lot of Republicans are not crazy about the people they have running. Also, there are a lot of people who are willing to put up their money to ensure there is not another GW Bush elected.

Wait until after the primaries. Right now, we don't know for sure who its going to be and to be honest about it. We aren't happy with our selection this time around.
