He did this at the "moment of truth" if you know what I mean. He is a great husband and father, we have been married for 12 years so this really shocked the hell out of me! What does it mean??

I would ask him what he meant. He owes you an explanation, It could go either way.

It could have just been something said in a moment of passion like a compliment - like you really gave him the ride of his life.

My husband and I have been together for 10 years now. For our first 8 years together he only said my name and "oh baby". Then out of the blew he woke me during the night and whispered "I want to f....k you". I was never so shocked in my life, I had never heard him say that word.

I came to realize the just wanted to add a new element to our lovemaking - talking dirty. Nothing wrong with it, and it excites him so much I get better sex out of it.

Have a nice romantic dinner, candles and music. Then wehn you are both relaxed smile wickedly and ask him what brought that on.

Good luck to you

I think you should feel honored. I have read many articles in which woman say that they can go out and but sucessful in the work place etc. but there is nothing wrong with coming home and being a total s**t with their husbands in the bedroom. Take pride in that and know that he loves you very much.

It ;means that you and your husband are have such a sexual chemistry that he got caught up in the heat of the moment and got funky!!! Sounds like he made a hot situation even hotter!!! You should be honored!!!

Calling your spouse dirty names during sex is all part of role playing or a fantasy its normal....don't get hung up on it...next time you should call him a name during the heat of a moment see how he reacts.

talk to him about it, make sure you come across curious (cause it sounds like you are) rather than mad, so that you get the thruth and not an immediate "I'm sorry. Cause you really do want to know where it came from..
To me sounds like he was really hot and he would probably like for you to call him a bad boy every now and then.

Have Fun

Sounds like he might be ripe for exploring some fantasies. He is being verbally open with you. Not a bad thing at all. I vote for honored on this ! ;)

He was probably just trying to dirty things up a little bit, and it might not have come out the way he meant it to. I would talk to him about it, and if it makes you feel uncomfortable, talk about some alternatives- tell him which words he could say that would excite you. He might be trying to spice things up, no reason you shouldn't be able to talk about it together.

After 12 yrs this is the first time he's done that? I'd wonder where he heard it and why all of the sudden he's using a term like that toward you...ya might want to ask him about that (not that it was offensive, naughty talk in bed is kewl, but for it to spring up suddenly after a decade of no such name-calling is a bit odd).

dont know why you should feel honored to be called a s***, last time i remembered that is a term for someone that likes to sleep around. i know if i called my husband a dirty f***around he wouldnt feel honored. never knew someone could even consider feeling good about that.

Sounds like the episode of Sex & the City. When Charlotte's boyfriend would have an orgasm he would call her a s**t, and f'n whore. But still talk to him about it.

sounds like some kind of fantasy coming out. It's probably nothing to worry about, guys can act a hell of a lot different with that much hormones and whatnot going through them.
