The Colts spent their bye week getting buried in the headlines and in stature behind the New England Patriots. Not only are most people ready to hand over the Super Bowl crown the Colts possess to the Patriots, they seem to forget Indianapolis is also undefeated.
Peyton Manning isn't used to playing second fiddle in the hype department, but Tom Brady and the Patriots have turned the table on the Colts. What better way to get the attention back on you than by lighting it up on Monday night?
The Colts opened the season with a Thursday night blowout of the Saints in Week 1, but haven't been featured on primetime since. On their way to a 5-0 mark, they've survived a few scares. Manning looks as sharp as ever, though, and Joseph Addai along with Kenton Keith have solidified the running attack. They get a difficult test in the Jaguars (4-1), who've won four straight and are getting steady quarterback play from David Garrard.
None of the Jags' four wins have come against teams with a winning record. So facing Manning and the Colts will be a serious step up in competition. Should they pull the upset, Jacksonville would take over first place in the AFC South. Expect the Jags to try to establish the run with Maurice Jones-Drew. If they're successful, they'll keep the Indy offense on the sidelines and the game close.
The Colts are a -4 favorite against the point spread.

I'm a Colts fan and I think this is gonna be a great game. The Jaguars are always fired up when the Colts come to town and they've given them all they can handle over the past couple of years... especially when the game is in Jacksonville. I'm hoping the Colts' defense is looking for revenge on that game last year. Either way - these are two of the best teams in the NFL and it should be the best MNF game of the year!

This is the showdown game that no one seems too interested in. I think the Jags will win in a close game. Indy won't be able to run the ball against the Jags' incredible D-line (best in the NFL against the run), and the Jaguars will wear down the small Indy defense by pounding the ball. Jags 24, Colts 20

Should be a really good game, one of the best offenses, against one of the best defenses. If the Colts run defense is really shored up and not just fluky, then the Jags have their work cut out for them. They hurt the Colts BAAAAD in the run game last year. But the Jags have a really good chance of beating any team they take the field against. Including the almighty supposedly untouchable patriots if it came down to it.

oh yes.
being a fellow jaguar fan.
garrard is playing almost perfect football.
no picks, 4 straight 100 plus passer ratings in a game, and he leads the jags on long drives which is gonna allow the defense to rest and keep manning off the field. plus the run game is forming and thats how they killed the colts last season.
the defense is playing at an elite level and is steadily becoming a monster to handle week in and week out.

If Mojo goes off for over 200 again this year, maybe, but assuming Peyton Manning makes it to the stadium i'd say it's a long shot.

Can they? Sure but it will take at least 3 Indy turnovers.
Will they? I don't think so. Indy wins 24-17
