i am building a website and thought of using images to make the content more appealing..... am finding it difficult to find images and the ones I found were copyrighted...
is there any site where i can find free images... free as in freedom???

beware though - they have a sister site that charges money - stock exhange - they're both great sites, but the one that charges money looks JUST the same as the free one so make sure you're at the right site..

The best images are the ones you take with a digital camera but you can get stock image off the web as well from places like photo.com

START WITH go to http://www.google.com and at the upper left use images and then on that page type in keywords for the sort of images you want...and figure out from there, perhaps, whether appropriate images have copyrights...you may even try "public domain" as keywords?

You can visit the following websites for royalty free stock photos. But you should not take full freedom over those like you can't use it for commercial.
