It can just break at any time!!! I say that because I was just standing looking out the door and I looked down and there was water everywhere! I didn't even know till my feet felt wet. That was Tues. morn & I had her Wed. afternoon, that was over 24 hr later, they called it a dry birth. Because my water had been broken so long and they were just about to do a C-section cause I wasn't dilating, but she finally got her momentum up and came on out! NOT PLEASANT!!!! That was 23 yrs ago and today she is a teacher HaHa!!!!!! I am PROUD!!! I guess the whole thing was worth it and I wish I could do it all over again!!! My son was born 4 yrs later and they had to do a C-section, he was so big! I've had both and I would choose the C-section over the dry birth anyday!

It can break with no sign at all. My first broke when I was laying in the bed and with my second one it broke while I was taking my daughter trick treating. Call the doctor or go and get checked if you think your water has broke

no, it does not always feel the same. when my water broke i didn't feel a thing. all i felt was a lot of warm water shooting out. everyone and every time is different. plus u probably did have to pee and it was just a coincidence that your water broke

It can break with absolutely no sign whatsoever. With my first I was already in the hospital being induced and totally did not expect it. I thought I had peed because I was already pretty drugged up.

With my first baby, it felt like I had to pee, but with my second baby it just broke with no warning. Every pregnancy is different.

It can break with no signs and just because it broke with your first baby doesn't mean it'll break with your second.

your water broke when you went last time, but it doesn't mean it will again. it is the shift of the baby's position adn the pulling on the bag of waters. if you are lucky you will do it the same way again. but with both of mine, the dr had to pop it for me.
