Im browsing for a car right now as im carless in Florida (those of you who live down here know how horrible this is), and I saw a 2002 Vitara, is known as "little hummers" because they are tiny SUV, totally girlie and adorable.. I dont want to make a decision based on how cute im going to look in the car, but I feel myself wishing to go for it just because is so cute! Do you guys know if this car is worth the risk? Are they reliable, lasting vehicles?

They received solid reviews http://www.edmunds.com/used/2002/suzuki/vitara/index.html and Suzuki while not a class leader tends to make quality vehicles. It looks like the 02 Vitara should be price between $5-6K. At that price you've got yourself a good vehicle that should last a good number of years with minor repairs. BTW, automobiles are almost never an investment as they always go down in value and will require maintaining and repair.
