How can i get him out. i checked around the fan and he is not there. I can not see him. He will not respond.....Should I go ahead and go, Maybe he is not there at all..(ran out when wasn't looking)

ok, honked horn.... No kitty... Maybe it not such a good idea to hose down my engine compartment. Isn't stuff in there sensitive to that. Maybe I'll just call in sick.

whenever I need to get my cat, i just shake their food bag and they come running to me.

Don't start the engine, this will catch him in the fan blades if he is under the hood, the best way to get your cat or any cat out from inside the engine area or from under the car is to stand on the horn, this will drive the cats out in a hurry.

And, to be on the safe side, always honk your horn whenever you get back into your vehicle after its been sitting in one place for several hours. The noise of the horn honking will scare the fur right off the cat and he will be gone./

Cats sometimes seek the engine compartment for warmth, especially during the cold winter months, so just blow the horn a couple of times and that ought to solve the problem, since you sound like a very responsible person that loves animals, like I do.

Open the Hood an Dump some water in .. that should make kitty move ! Or Honk the horn that will get his lil butt outta there !

go out and bump the engine over just a little. dont start the car. the sound should scare him enough to get out.

blow the horn a couple of times and if you don't see the cat you'r e probably in good shape, it's probably already gone anyway

dont start it, it could be by a moving part. if its in there when you start it youll have to pry a dead cat out of the crank pulley, it happened to my mom once.
