A little of both.
Happy because my son's coming out to spend an entire month with us!!
Depressed because it will be the tenth anniversary of my grandmother's death. I'm still grieving the loss of my sister-in-law and I'm going to be missing the rest of my family who are strewn all over the place.

I **HATE** Christmas. I hate it with all the passion in my body and soul. I will be miserable until New Years is over and the decorations are put away. Once Halloween is over, my descent into misery begins.
However, I have no feelings - good or bad - about another year having gone by. It's just life.

A healthy combination of the 2. I will more then likely be single, so totally devoid of cuddles. The fireplace, hot cocoa, marshmallows and Delicious meal I will have spent a week planning and cooking, will go to waste.
But I will have my health, a job, family, friends, roof over my head, food in my belly, plenty of books, and movies to occupy my mind.
All in all I am just grateful to be granted the chance to live that day, another day in the life.

Whoops, I was dancing too..... I love the Christmas holidays and even though the years are going by faster, I still love every day (well, not as much now, I have a cold....) even if I can't remember it. Somedays even the bad ones.
I wish happiness on everyone else too.

I will be Happy. its christmas, a time to spend with happy and friends. I will be going to visit my mother and younger brothers this year

I dread it coming. I hate Christmas anymore. I have lost 2 close people to me this year. I really don't need the holidays stuffed in my face.

I'm Christian but I hate Christmas because it has been misappropriated by this perverse secular culture. People overeat, drink too much, drink and drive, put themselves in zillions of dollars in credit card debt, and force themselves to be with relatives and family they would probably like to murder with the carving knife. Yeah, that's my idea of a really good time. To hell with it all!

both, because i love christmas, everything about it, the feeling in the air, decorations, music, presents ;)
on the down side, we're moving a few weeks before christmas, so we may not get to decorate as much as I'd like or give as many presents as we'd like

I am not sure, I will try to be happy but you just never know, you can't force feelings... But I know one thing for sure -Christmas gives me peaceful feeling and good charge for next year, I can't wait...
