for that person?
Personally, I'd like 4 years to go by with no additional limitations on my liberties.

I rather vote for someone who is a vegetable in a hospital then some of these brain dead clowns we got in office or are running for office.
But your suggestion is the next best thing.

If Congress could not pass any laws, basically the government would have to shut down, since it cannot function without appropriations bills passed every year. So then airplanes could not fly, highways would crumble, the military would have to disband, the borders would no longer be patrolled, smuggling would be rampant, no Social Security checks could be distributed, and millions of people would be homeless. The elderly and the poor would not be able to pay for health care, the federal courts would have to close, and we would basically be back to the law of the jungle. This sounds good to you???

uh..no. WE THE PEOPLE elect members of Congress to do their jobs.
i do not want one person (The President) in charge of every decision! that would be called having GW for a third term
how about some Democracy at work here?!!
Very liberal thinking on your part though (eeekkk)!

No. Any candidate should give each law careful consideration. Simply vetoing everything would be pointless.

If he would eliminate the hate crimes bill which basically destroys free speech. We have always had laws against harming other people. This bill only wants to silence our preachers.

Um, hell no. I don't need someone getting elected based completely on them being disagreeable with the houses of congress.

I would.
I think there are already too many laws, many of them being pork barrel items.
