Hmm.......2-4 against Australia is not that damn bad but i am very disappointed with the way we played in most of the matches.
I think we made a lot of tactical mistakes. We couldn't control our most talented fast bowler Sreesanth. Rahul Dravid batted above Uthappa in most matches,that was a mistake.
We should have given a chance to Rohit Sharma atleast in 1 match.
Irfan Pathan should have used the new ball. Pathan was sent before Yuvraj in last message
I mean there were so many tactical mistakes & you can't expect to win more games against Australia with these crappy plans.
Well played Sachin. Ganguly did ok. Rahul needs a break. Yuvraj disappointed in most of the matches.
Dhoni was below average,Uthappa was ok ok.
Among bowlers - Sree was misused ( i still like this guy a lot)
Zaheer looked tired,Karthik bowled well,Bhajji was ok
RP disappointed.

I fully agree with your views. There were lot of tactical mistakes throughout the series. If one closely analuyse each and every match, India could have easily levelled the series, i9f not winning the series if these tactical mistakes had not taken place. IOndia could have easily won the 6th ODI if batting order was made with proper application of mind. When the openers had given sol,id start, what was required at that stage to send a batsman who is capable of batting for long and keep the momentum instead of sending irfan Pathan in the form of a pinch hitter. Instead of sending hiom, if Yuvaraj singh or Robin Uthappa was sent, situation would have been different.

His 6 for 27 happen to be the best figures ever by a left-arm spinner in ODIs.
Also breaking a record of Sanath Jayasuriya's 6 for 29 against England in Moratuwa in 1992-93...
That was really an incredible bowling spell by M.Kartik & he did the top order batsman's duty too which even they couldnt do. 21*...
