yeah, manuals, or most computers like 2005+ are color coded now =)

The manual that came with my motherboard included fairly detailed information related to the cables. If you have your motherboard vendor/model, we could probably locate the manual for it online.

You can Google search for "build a PC" and get many results. Here is one that seems to be pretty useful.

No...because each computer is unique.......but starting with basics:
Computers have a floppy disc drive.... a Harddrive, and CD
Drive...
..And these Drives have a Power cord.....and Data Cable
