Growing up as a teen in the 90s was great...we got to be...well..KIDS! These days you see kids skateboarding around while talking on there cell phones. The girls seem completely clueless. They all look miserable and bored. There cartoons are crap. There tv shows are crap. Anyone else notice this about them? I'm talking about the kids born post 1992, 1993. What a boring generation.

This question may be 9 years old, but I'm answering anyway. Here are many things I have to say to you:
1.) Your grandparent's generation obviously said the same thing about you, it's a cycle that keeps going.
2.) What you said at the end of this question makes no sense. You're basically saying that kids born in 1993 don't have phones and are happy, but people born in 1994 or 1995 have phones and are "miserable" just because they're one/two years younger? Great logic you retard.
3.) You need to get your head out of your a** and quit generalizing.

I was born in '95. And all of that sh*t you described is completely inaccurate of how I was at the time you posted this. And fu*k all the other douche-bags on this question that agree with you!

I hate to say it but it isn't only this generation, it was like that before also. Even in my grandmothers day girls cried for days over guys and got pregnant as a teen. It is just not hidden like it was back then. My grandmas sister had her first child at 16 and my aunt had her first child at 14. My mother had me at 16. I am actually the oldest in my family to have her first child (not in the teen years) It happened a lot in other generations too. STD's on the other hand is happening more these days, yes they were around in other years but teens don't seem to be as aware or educated now a days to protect themselves from it.

I guess every generation feels the same, but this one in particular I would agree with you. The little girls dress like they're 25 already, developing earlier, the boys always look bored no matter what they're doing and their cartoons and stuff are mindless. I bought my guys some cartoons in boxed sets that were from the 80's (He-Man, Thundercats, stuff my brother liked) and they love it ! Way more than the stuff on tv right now. I dunno. I worry though what their generation will be like in twenty or thirty years.

every generation thinks the same, I was a teen in the 70's and cant imagine how horrible it must have been for you kids in the 90's, the tv was really bad, kids were using pagers and had the dumbest music I have ever heard.. what a dumb generation I thought those 90's kids were.
