Rena, you are so good....I believe that the course of which we chart is sometimes not what God has charted for us, and so when He lets us make our own mistakes, He does take over and carries up in His arms until we are ready to continue on firmer ground.

Your question really doesn't make a lot of sense the way it's worded. Sorry. I can say, though, that I'm a christian and I believe that with God's direction we can chart a course for ourselves in life. Without him we are wandering aimlessly. He's here to bless us and offer protection. He doesn't force him way in, though. We must ask him to come along on the ride of life! Let the journey begin!

first of all I might desire to tell you that i'm no longer a Latter-Day Saint. yet awhile in the past i became such as you, i became very severe of the LDS church because of the fact my husbands sister switched over and that i felt that a number of their ideals have been stunning. So after criticizing them for awhile i found out that I might desire to hold at the same time each and every of the info so i will have a very stable argument against the LDS church. So I appeared on the LDS internet site and that i additionally definitely talked to a missionary. What i got here across fairly became that besides the actuality that i will no longer trust a number of their teachings, they are relatively stable Christian people who're doing their terrific to serve the Lord and do His artwork. you are going to be able to experience that they are erroneous of their ideals, yet in spite of this they in all likelihood experience the comparable way approximately your ideals, yet I definitely have yet to work out an LDS participants submit a question ranting approximately how incorrect non-LDS denominations are. the fact of the full count is that we are all Christians and maximum each and every physique is doing our terrific to stay a powerful and Christian existence. fairly of criticizing the Latter-Day Saints we would desire to continually embody them as we embody our different Christian brothers and sisters. no longer something gets finished by criticizing others, whilst you're inquisitive approximately their faith and choose to be taught greater, than inspect greater credible materials. you're entitled to disagree with their faith, yet do you rather think of if Jesus have been right here suitable now, he may be so severe?

For that to happen, there would have to BE a god. Interesting twist of phrase, to be "vulnerable to" implies to be capable of being hurt by, so, if this "protection" you speak of is hurtful, I'd not WANT to believe in your choice of god-concepts. It doesn't sound like a healthy belief-system to me at all.

I have no idea what your asking here. I'm assuming this question applies to people who believe in God. When can anybody chart their own course in life? Nobody can?!

No...we become vulnerable to ourselves, and lead ourselves astray. THEN we usually turn to a diety to help us find our way back.
