what do i put on an application if i need to talk to the manager about the hours i can work?

if you start with limited hours on your application they won't bother with you, unless it is for part time

You don't, unless they ask on the application what hours you are available, then list them. But if you get an interview, be sure to discuss it then.

if you are limited or have strange hours. then leave it blank or write down the specific hours you can work or you can write open for discussion.
