A few people have mentioned www.wikipedia.org this is a good site but make sure you look at other sites to back up what it says since it can be unreliable because just about anyone can write information for the site. www.webopedia.com is good because it describes most computing terms and explains how a lot works with computers. the only one site which is excellent to know about things enthusiastically is no other than wikipedia.
just click http://www.wikipedia.org/
[select the language who wished for..]
& then enter the word COMPUTER in the search bar space provided... you will get loads of stuff pertaining to it with the pictures...
