It's socially acceptable to fun of fat people. It's hilarious when they make movies to portray fat people as ugly, crazy, foodaholics. No one thinks twice about staring or making rude comments about fat people. And no one cares that half the things that are said aren't true. But when a fat person turns the table and starts making fun back, all of sudden skinny people have a problem with teasing. They can't call you a twig, but you can call them a whale. They can't stare at you, but you can stare at them. They can't say you're an anorexic who starves themselves, but you can say they are lazy and eat all the time. They can't say you look nasty like a bag of bones, but you can say they look nasty like a tub of lard.

Bottom line for both sides, if you can't take it, don't dish it out. Or better yet, let's all just stop making fun of each other and learn to except our differences. We're all equal.

Socially acceptable to make fun of fat people? Not where I come from. My parents always tried to teach me that it's not ok to make fun of *anybody*, for any reason. That's the same lesson I'm trying to pass on to my children.

the reason behind that is both stereotypes, lack of expertise, and absence of self assurance. some human beings do not hesitate to point the finger and lay their insecurities on different to make themselves sense more suitable ideal. case in point, in some solutions, that is reported that skinny human beings are made relaxing of because they make relaxing of overweight human beings. it really is actual now and again. some skinny human beings do make relaxing of overweight human beings and vice versa yet in basic terms because some folk with a similar body variety(skinny or overweight) makes relaxing of someone does no longer mean that the fellow being ridiculed ought to generalize and tease the opposing body variety. I easily were accused of having an eating ailment at the same time as i'm completely healthful and devour plenty! the subsequent day I ate a lunch of collard vegetables, cornbread, chicken, and mac and cheese and they close up!
