What history would help them?
Indians - last title - 59 years ago
Browns' last title - 43 years ago
Cavs - 37 years in the league, no titles
Barons - failed NHL team, no titles
Seriously, how does that help?

There are many people in the Cleveland area that are hoping this is the case. The Indians have been to post-season play in 1995 and in 1997 (World Series, I mean). They are their own worst enemies. If they can keep from making silly mistakes and concentrate, then, they can do it.
True the Cavs were in post season play and didn't win, but at least they were there! And, think about how far they came in such a short amount of time.
The Browns were in the playoffs in the 1980s. The team just hasn't been playing up to expectations.
The Indians have great pitching and great hitting. The payroll isn't steep and the players genuinely like playing the game. They are also very appreciative of the fan support. Hopefully, they can put it all together and win this year!
Go Tribe! :)

all I can do is hope and pray with every ounce of strength left in my tired but happy body that they do win the World Series and lay all those demons to rest, the way Boston and the White Sox have already been able to do. Also - all this smack about the Rockies - they are much weaker than Cleveland. Look at the pitching stats for the season. I think these people in Colorado have too much of a Rocky Mountain high and their brains are getting scrambled.

Cleveland is a city which loves that is activities communities. all of them. For one it obviously relies upon on the fellow, yet average i might want to ought to pass with the Superbowl. many times because because very last 365 days all of us knew that Cavs had a shot with James. The Indians have slowly been progressing, and this 365 days are doing ok (1st in usual, tied w/ Detroit, 4.5 video games head of the White Sox). my order must be a million. Browns 2. Tribe 3. Cavs regardless of if i do say all of them might want to intend a hell of plenty to that city
