Actually if you say Pro Abortion in effect you are saying everyone should always have one - whereas pro choice means its up to the individual. Anyone who is pro abortion is really wierd. I am stronly pro choice and would have an abortion myself if I wanted one.
Sorry If I made this unclear this isn't a poll I wanted to hear everyones views arguments and changes they would make!!!

I believe abortion is wrong because I feel it’s murder. Pro-life has three key steps and those are what I’m going to be talking about. The first step involves showing that the unborn is alive. The second step is to show that the unborn is a separate individual from the mother. And the third step is to show that the individual is human.
Well the first step is very easy to prove. People who are Pro-choice usually say something like, “No one knows when life begins.” Okay, Gregory Koukl puts it this way, “The mother and father are alive, so are the individual sperm and egg. The zygote formed from their union is alive, as is the developing fetus during it entire term. Finally the child delivered is alive.” So tell me, when does it die and come back to life?
The second step, show that the unborn is a separate individual from the mother, is a scientific fact. These examples make it very clear;
1. Many woman carry babies with a different blood type then their own.
2. A woman may be carrying a male child.
3. The fetus has a DNA fingerprint distinct from the mother.
4. If the embryo of black parents is transplanted into a white mother, she will still have a black baby.
5. Early in development the fetus has its own hands, feet, heart, skin, and eyes.
People say all the time that a woman should be able to choose what happens to her body. Shouldn’t the baby inside that body have a choice and a chance to live? If you don’t agree with that do you agree that a man should be able to rape a woman if he feels like it? It’s his body, he should be able to do what ever he wants with his body. It doesn’t matter who else it hurts just as long as he has free choice to do what he wants with his body, right?
To show that the baby is human is simple, dogs don’t have cats and birds don’t have rabbits. Not a single species can beget a different kind of species, not even bacteria. So if you want to know what kind of being an offspring is, you can ask a simple question: what type of parents did it have? A baby can have a disability, but that doesn’t make it non human.
I believe abortion is wrong because it’s killing an innocent child who deserves a chance to live in this world. In the Bible God says if someone accidentally kills a child in the mothers womb that man should be put to death, what do you think he thinks of us doing it on purpose? I hope my examples are clear, if they aren’t I hope you still got the idea. If you believe in free will doesn’t the baby deserve some?

Those are entirely unrelated positions.
Pro-life says "abortion is bad" -- it's a value judgment based on the act of abortion itself -- and personally, I'm opposed to abortion absent an absolute medical necessity. But that's my personal opinion -- not something I would force on someone else.
However, Pro-choice has nothing to do with whether abortion is good or not -- it only has to do with WHO gets to make the decision. Because someone is going to decide -- and it's either going to be the individual or its going to be the govt.
And personally, the govt should never be allowed to force someone to do somethign that personal -- and that includes forbidding abortions just as much as it does making abortions mandatory. And if the govt gets to decide -- because that choice is not a fundamental right -- then the govt can make it mandatory just as easily as they can make it illegal.

In my opinion, if you think you are mature enough to be having sex, you need to be mature enough to handle the consequence. (possible pregnancy)
Too many people use abortion as an "easy way out". How about safe sex? How about taking The Pill? Not enough women are educated enough on what an abortion can do to your body either. I knew a girl who had 4 and now she can't have children.
So many couples can't conceive and would love to adopt a baby. So many other choices (besides abortion) in "pro choice".

It is the woman's choice withing the first 12 weeks. After that it should only be done for serious medical conditions with the endorsement of a Doctor.
If it is a matter of medical necessity it should be covered. However if it is just of choice it should be the burden of the woman seeking the abortion to cover the cost.

Most thinking people are torn on the subject
Should abortion NEVER be legal?
Should a 13 year old be able to get one without parents permission?
How late in Term should it be allowed?
Should a waiting period be required?
Should information on alternatives be provided?
My own opinion is it should be legal but with restrictions, and it should be a state decision, not mandated at the federal level

Pro choice, to me means, one to make a choice, and it be a legal choice. AND as soon as one knows. NOT 3 mos &/or beyond.
'Tis better to have a child loved, than one not wanted. We see that difference in too many news items today.
Julie, please define neglect and abuse as well.

Myself, I would say Prolife, but it is not up for me to decide to actions of another person. Therefore, i would say that in the big picture of things I am Pro Choice
