there is no catch to getting one, its cheap because we're a third party co. so to give to us for low prices to get those providers customers. You'll still pay your monthly bill just that you'll get a phone for like 40 dollars instead of like 200 or even free dependin on the promotion

Nothing is free! How many minutes min. do you have to purchase? How many years in the contract? I repeat nothing is free.

to the person that said nothing is free.. you can get a free phone from here http://shurl.org/EVLny its the SE W880i and its not tied to any contact.
all you have to do is sign up to the site, complete an offer (which is free) and then get your friends or family to do the same. Once you've done that, the website will send you your phone :)
