I'm more concerned with our troops getting supplies and avoiding actual WWIII, if possible, than I am with whether Russia and Turkey have rights.

You mean like America did in Iraq, Israel did in Lebanon, Israel is doing to the Palestinians and so on? Apparently they don't.
The US went into Iraq under false pretenses, and dismantled everything that the innocent people there had. Now, there are people around the world, and here that are seething with resentment at the way we went in and took those innocent lives. We are becoming no better than the terrorists who did 9/11.
Bush went into Iraq for GREED. How is that better than killing innocent Americans for religion? Both are unjustifiable reasons to take the lives of innocent people. Both are terrrorist acts.

Yes, every sovereign country has a right to defend itself. Turkey's invasion is not pre-emptive because the Kurds invaded first, several months ago, before all this Armenian genocide hoopla resolution.

Sure, if they get the international community to support it like the US did in Iraq. Granted, everyone pulled their support as soon as they realized that the justifications were all based on lies. But they had international approval before they went in, and they've "bs"ed their way into staying there. I'm sure the Russians could pull off a scam like that as well.

An excellent question. American foreign policy would have you believe that we are anointed as the world's policeman.
The upcoming presidential election is a chance for voters to
choose the one candidate who thinks that is the reason why
the world is increasingly hostile towards us. That candidate is Ron Paul. He speaks loud and clear. Let's support this
candidate who brings rational thinking to our foreign policy.

Oh no, because of the double standard our current administration holds to the rest of the world. Only Americans can do whatever they want, because we're the peace-bringers.

Of course they do - according to the Bush Doctrine - anyone who claims self defense can attack anyone they like.
