You've got a lot of anger, young man. I assure you, it's not as serious as you are making it.
Take deep breathes.

Everyone keeps talking about ND being over rated. Over rated by who? They haven't appeared in the rankings all year and no one with any knowledge is claining they are any good this year.
You are right when you say they have struggled in the last 10 years. They have struggled since Holtz left but were very good under Weis last year. He does not have the talent this year and it will be a long year but, within two years he will be back in the National Championship picture.
The sure sign of a good football program is a whole bevy of haters always crying the blues about being over rated. Baylor sucks, they are not ranked but no one writes about them on yahoo answers. Notre Dame is bad this year, they are not ranked and no national sports writer claims them to be any good, yet The Irish get more press on Yahoo answers than even Austin N can give USC.
They get that press because they are a good program an Weis will have them back. If you can't understand why I say any of this than just read any one of my million other responses to ND questions.
Before UCLA the haters said they wouldn't win a game. After UCLA they said UCLA wasn't as good as we thought. Then they said BC would easily beat them by 30. When it was barely more than 10 and a close game for three quarters, not a peep was heard.
I am a Navy fan and I hope Navy beats ND this year because I know this will be the last good opportunity in quite some time. Yes, it is a bad year but be realistic.
By the way, most Catholics are not liberals.

Well as we all know the success or lack there of for the Irish is clearly the result of poor recruiting by Ty Willingham. It is also willinghams fault that Louisville can't win either, and I believe some scientists are looking into the effects of Ty Wilingham's recruiting on Global Warming.

What Weis is doing this year, is what he was taught by Bill Belichick in New England. He's video taping all his opponents and their hand signals this year, and then next year he'll know exactly what they're calling. So look out for the Fighting(like girls) Irish next year!!

no. he currently doesnt have a proven QB (hes going with expierence vs usc this weekend and only this weekendunless he shows promise). i believe clausen in his jr year will be a top qb (next year he should start but will still make some mistakes) and they'll be back in 2 years. got to have time to rebuild when you lose alot.
