You are correct sir. Unfortunatly true conservatives like Tancredo and Hunter are being passed over for more liberal republicans like Guliani and RiNos like McCain. Not to mention the disgraces that are Lincoln Chafee and Olympia Snow. I wish we could expel those spineless weasels from the party.

Without moderates like McCain, Specter, Graham, Snowe, The Govanator, etc.the republicans would become a permanent minority party. They country is only about 1/3 Conservative. Giuliani is not a Moderate, he is just weird, and Paul is so far Right he is almost left,
If you would rather be Right than win it is OK with me.

The Republicans are the most inclusive party of political thought. You are allowed to stay in the Republican Party even if you don't believe the party line.
You will be hung to dry for scandals. They want a moral politicians.
The Democratic Pary is only incluse as you skin and sexual oriantation. If you don't belive in the party line, you are out.
They don't care about scandals. They don't care about having moral politicians. Anything goes. But if you don't believe in killing babies, then you are hung out to dry. They believe in killing babies more than they believe in killing convicted murderers or the enemies of war because it is only OK to kill the innocent.
I think you have it right. The Republicans are the moderate party. And the Democrats are the Communist party in drag clothing.

True conservatives need to purge out the elements that have ruined our party like the aformentioned rino's and court true Reagan conservatives back in. If this cannot be done, we need to form a neo-conservativ party open to only true conservatives and not bending, wavering rino's that have long ruined the Republicans.

Fiscally? Socially? Which? No it is not safe to say, when the Democrats with their socialist entitlements are on the other side of the aisle!
An entire generation of Americans have grown up expecting it to be someone else's job to feed them, house them and employ them... Harsh? I think not.
ADDED: Easy, we explain them by calling them rinos. Look where they live, btw. They represent their constitutencies. Whether the rest of us like it or not. Imagine who would get elected if they didn't?!

I am a Republican, but I agree. The conservative party will become the Libertarians; they will be popular in a few years.

No.
Although it would be refreshing to see people going more towards the center, I dont think either party is doing it.

Oh, no. The Republicans are the conservative-to-fascist party. The Democrats are the moderate party.

Wrong. There never was a conservative party because there are Conservative Republicans and Conservative Democrats. Republicans are NOT moderates. Moderates are fences sitters who don't take sides from either radical extremist.
