Scout the schools that you want to look at first. See what their existing situation is at QB. To be realistic, you may want to look at a 1AA, DII or NAIA school. Best time to walk on is in the spring. Coaches have more time to evaluate new talent. Good luck.

UCLA has a walk on QB and actually played a couple of weeks ago when there top two QB's suffered injuries. Determination and Drive, don't let anyone tell you any different.

If you were really good or are really good you would have scouts talking to you. If you don't I'm sure you are not as good as you say. You have just as good of any other walk on that tries. I'd ask you football coach if he has any college connections he can put in a good word for you.

You can try to walk-on at a smaller college, and then transfer to a bigger college. That's what quite a few QBs are doing lately.

ignore the first answer, there are lots of great players that walk on and depending on the school the better your chances will be. obviously if your trying to walk onto a bigtime D1 team it probably won't happen but there are plenty of guys that make it at smaller D1 schools for example the MAC and go on to make it to the pros, so anything is possible

To be honest wit you man it would probably all depend on what college you go to and of course how good you are but mostly the school!

If you are that good, you would get a scholarship...not walk-on...It is possible that a walk-on would become a scholarship player, but you would have to show it to the coaches in practice...
