The last Pats game of the season is against BIG BLUE. Let's say they go 15-0.
-They will clinch the division by Week 10.
-They will clinch home-field advantage by Week 12.
-Belicheck doesn't care about going undefeated.
-They won't be playing their starters past the 1st quarter.
The Giants are in the NFC East which always comes down to the last week of the season. A good team with something to lose has a solid chance against a great team who is just waiting for the playoffs to start.

undefeated is a long shot even for the Patriots. I love how someone said the cowboys would beat them in the superbowl. The cowclowns couldn't defend their own turf against New England, and the Cowboys wanted that game a lot more than New England did. Wait until New England plays them and wants the game as much as the Clownboys. It will be 55-0 Patriots if Dallas is lucky.
But as far as undefeated, I doubt it. They will have a loss, maybe even 2. I don't see undefeated but I do see an easy superbowl champion.

If they go undefeated, it will be further evidence that Bill Belichick is all about breaking records. If they wrap up home field advantage like the Colts did a couple of years ago with 3 weeks left, they should not play their starters for complete games to avoid the risk of injury. Obviously if they are playing for home field advantage, the starters should play because if they play in Indy again in the playoffs, they will lose again.
Of course, they do have 3 teams in their division with a combined total of 2 wins, so they could probably win those 6 games without the starters. Who knows?

The reason why its so hard to go undefeated is because every team they face from here on out is going to consider it "their superbowl".
They are going to get worn down, and eventually Brady is going to have an off week. He is human afterall. And lets not forget the game in Indy. Even though I think the Pats are the stronger team right now, someone I think Peyton will find a way to keep that game close.

I despise the Pats but, there is a good chance they could go undefeated. Like every year, they have a pretty easy schedule other than the Cowboys and Colts they haven't or will not play anyone with a good winning season. This happens every year, you don't think their winning games over the past few years has anything to do with "Spygate" do ya?

There is no way they are going to go undefeated...and I will bet anything on that...Tom Brady is doing very well but everybody has a bad game or a bad day!

They definitely have the talent to do it. But lots of things can go wrong during the season. It would be easy for them to drop a game or two. As they say, Any given Sunday!
I hope they do it.

there's absolutely no reason they can't as long as they don't let up too much the last couple of weeks. this is the best team i have seen in a long time. the only thing that worries me about them is who is there backup QB? god forbid something should happen to brady could they overcome it?
