I am an extremely private person. While at one time I sought comfort from others; friends, a lover, I now know that I would seek too much perfection from them, so I try to comfort myself.
And my cat, Sonia is a great companion. I never thought I'd be the recluse I am today. But it is really what I have chosen to be, so I accept the lack of immediate comfort that the right pair of human arms would bring. I pretty stoically, look at the situation, objectively and accept it as IS, for the present time, it examines itself.

My dogs. They are always there if I am sad and in need of comfort. Of course there is always TV. lol
Trying to work on letting go and let God, more often, but I am imperfect in that goal. Guess I am human (and not a Squirrel) after all. Nuts.

I have a good friend...like a brother....and i practise Nichiren Daishonins Buddhism ( especially the Lotus-Sutra)...
and I am chanting Nam-Yoho-Renge-Kyo, the hard of this sutra....even for you..C.

What I like is a great big bowl of chocolate chocolate chip ice cream heavily covered with chocolate syrup. SOOO GOOD!!
