I wanna be respectful, and you do make that difficult,,,LOL,, at least allow some sarcasm.
Obviously they don't carry red tipped; white canes; but they MIGHT nab a tail of one in front? IF in fact the Butcher has not already Chopped off the tails? They might also SMELL the trail of the one in front? (The best position in a sled dog team is LEAD...If ya get my drift) They do pretty well in the dark, with only ambient light.
Obviously,,,and perhaps much like YOU; they find the bedroom to be a GREAT "nesting" place; even if you don't leave cheese and cracker crumbs in the bedding or on the floor. They just want a warm, comfy place, like you do.
I wanna be really careful in this.... They may be attracted to the sounds of a squeaking bed???
Perhaps you might leave a snack plate in the kitchen, kinda like Cookies and Milk left for "SANTA" and they may be so enthralled; they'll never NUDGE you in the bedroom?
Obvious methods are KILL the wee, cute rodents, but consider, even a tiny carcass dying and decaying between the wall structure. Sure you can use GLUE traps, but I don't wanna know that you did.
Then there is the Cinderella option. OR the ELVES repairing shoes option. Just leave appropriate materials around, and maybe in the morning find a Princesses ball gown on a form? OR a closet full of nicely repaired shoes?
In the "END" if you must,,,SNAP traps baited with GUMMY Bears, followed by a brief SQUEAL, will be as effective.

The weather is starting to get colder, and the little chaps are looking for somewhere warm. At this time of year there is a surge of mouse infestations in houses, and particularly in lofts.
Mice can climb very well, and get through holes as small as a pencil. They especially like climbing pipes, and get through the holes where they go through ceilings and floors. They prefer somewhere warm and quiet without much activity.
If you've got a mouse in your house you need to act quickly, before they start nesting and making babies! In a house, you'd be better to try to block up any holes you can find, then scare or trap them. Poison isn't good inside your house, as you won't find the bodies and they'll stink after a while.
Phone your local council - residential pest control is usually free. Otherwise, you can pick up traps for a few pounds - bait them with peanut butter.

My mother found a nest of mice around the pilot light in her old gas cooker.
So if they can climb up a slippery cooker I`m sure your stairs are no problem for them.
Go down to the nearest cat & dog home and get yourself a cat or kitten.
That way you will be doing youself and the cat a favour.

It probably likes the smell of something you keep in your bedroom.
Don't worry , it won't be lonely for long - it'll get it's friends round.
They'll be partying all night and you'll soon have the patter of tiny paws
