i'm 40 weeks preg and i have heavy discharge. what does this mean.?

as long as there is no discomfort associated with your discharge, it probably means that your mucous plug is beginning to break up in preparation for labor.

You're simply getting ready to have that baby! This is called your "mucous". Watch out for losing your "mucous plug" which will contain a little blood on it.

apparently its normal for heavier than normal discharge during pregnancy but you can always check with your midwife or someone to get rid of any worries you have!
